Treatment
Before receiving the ESW treatment, the patient will visit the clinic or the hospital for a general medical assessment and preliminary screening for erectile function. The medical staff may take the patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as standard evaluations.
Each treatment session lasts approximately 20 minutes. During treatment the
patient will be comfortably positioned by a trained medical professional.
The treatment requires no anesthesia or any other sedation. The patient can
convey any concerns or discomfort to the physician while being treated.
During the treatment session the patient may feel a pulsating sensation or
vibration and hear a loud snapping sound.
In the USA: ED1000 is limited by federal law to investigational use.
